Chapter 48: Equipped

In spite of the worry

Lydia and her PT in the UpSee contraption. She often would fall asleep after some time, and we would call it quits on the session.

The weeks tend to go fast here. There is so much structure and routine in the constant cycle of PT, OT, Speech that the afternoon is here before I know it. Then there is this constant stream of visitors: Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Godparents, and Church family from my childhood church. Of course, my immediate family is always here too. My support is astounding. It's this really rare and wonderful time to be with my family that I haven’t always seen on short trips to Pennsylvania for holidays. This is the silver lining of this prolonged hospitalization.
